Though it’s the average cost per click (Cost per click (CPC) is the amount of money charged with each click of a user), it isn’t the same cost in every industry. The costs may vary among industries. For example, the cost per click for an apparel may be about $0.45, while the cost for the insurance industries could be as high as $3.77. The cost per clicks of Apparel, retail and Travel and hospitality are the cheapest, starting at $0.45, $0.70, $0.63 per click, respectively.

Are Facebook ads worth it?

Comparing Facebook ads with the other online marketing giant, Google ads, Facebooks ads is quite cheap. The average cost per click of a google ad is $2.69 while that of Facebook is $0.55. But even so, Facebook ads can also be very expensive. As, Facebook does not show ads everywhere, if Facebook did that, then it would lose users. So, what Facebook does is, asks its advertisers to bid against each other, which means that the advertisers have competition. But even so, once the ad is on, there is a great chance of being seen by interested people. Which will get you more customers. And if you think that nobody clicks on Facebook ads, then think again, Facebook made about $60 billion in revenue in 2020, which means you’re wrong.
